Description:
Flange silent check valve was designed to prevent water hammer problems in water supply. When the pumps suddenly stops or quickly closing valvs, reversal of flow in the piping will slam the clapper shut against its seat and cause noise, vibration and piping stresses. So the water hammer can be easily controlled by a slow closing spring actuated check valve. It is suitable for horizontal or vertical up position.
